Fenworth was established in Kuala Lumpur by a group of lawyers who believed that clients deserved more than transactional service — they deserved a practice that took the time to understand their circumstances before advising on a course of action.
Our three practice areas — Customs and Trade Law, Non-Profit and Social Enterprise Law, and Criminal Defence Representation — reflect the kinds of matters where individuals and organisations most often find themselves in need of considered, specialist support.
The name Fenworth reflects our philosophy: steady, measured, and attentive. We do not pursue volume. We pursue quality of engagement with each client we take on.
Our office at Jalan Kia Peng places us in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's professional district, convenient for clients across the city and accessible to those travelling from further afield.

Legal Expertise in Kuala Lumpur
Fenworth operates at the intersection of trade regulation, civil society law, and criminal justice — three areas that require not only legal knowledge but an understanding of the pressures clients face when they seek legal help.
In trade law, we assist companies doing business across borders in Malaysia with the procedural and regulatory requirements that govern goods movement, tariff obligations, and compliance with the Customs Act 1967 and related legislation. Our team has experience with matters before the Royal Malaysian Customs Department as well as international arbitration procedures.
In non-profit law, we support foundations, associations, and social enterprises registered under the Companies Act 2016 and the Societies Act 1966. We understand that organisations pursuing a mission require legal support that is aligned with their values — not just their compliance obligations.
In criminal defence, we appear in sessions courts, high courts, and appellate courts on behalf of individuals charged under the Penal Code and other legislation. Our approach emphasises preparation, clear communication with clients, and diligent courtroom advocacy.
